8 years ago, while I was at a club in Miami, I had a vision of the woman I wanted to be.

She was fit (the healthy kind) + sober + having FUN everywhere she went.

She felt so secure with herself that she didn’t need anything else to feel good, because she wasn’t running away from anything. She was actually living.

For all of my adult life, I’ve used food and alcohol to cope with the discomfort I felt in situations. When I drank, the memories and replays of all my “imperfect” moments finally stopped. When I binged on food, I was able to numb myself from the extreme standards I had for myself.

Do you see the pattern here? I used food and alcohol to escape my shadow and the parts of myself I hated and couldn’t accept as part of myself.

Any time my insecurities screamed, I quieted them with a Tito’s + soda or chips + cookies.

This year I was forced to sit with my discomfort a lot.

My entire life was uprooted. There was so much change so fast and I knew that it was time.

Time to turn this vision I had all those years ago into my actual reality. If I wanted to step into my next level, I knew it was time to let go of the person I was.

Letting go was easy, because quarantine.

The real challenge is when you find yourself in uncomfortable situations again— will you shrink back into who you were or will you stand tall in all of your self-worth and confidence?

Reclamation takes you along this journey of sitting with the things that make you uncomfortable. It is only when you make peace with the dark parts of yourself that you can free yourself from them. Because your shadow is what has been influencing your decisions and creating your life.

That’s why you’re not as in love with your life as you could be.

Don’t worry, I’m here for you & I’ll be there with you every step of the way— supporting you when you feel like you can’t go any further and holding space for you when you feel alone.

You can have the confidence. You can have the self-love. You can have the wildly successful life.

You just have to choose it.

So go to the Reclamation page, schedule a call + let’s freakin’ do this!

I love you 💜
XX, Lauren
