When you hear the word addict or addiction, what do you think of?

An alcoholic, a drug addict.. someone like that, right?

I’m here to tell you it’s so much deeper than that.

We all hold our own addictions— addictions to food, to guilt, to judgement, to fear and so much more. These addictions manifest as a result of denying your pain.

Addictions keep you safe. They keep you from questioning why things are the way they are. They keep you controlled and predictable.

You feed your addictions by ignoring the inner callings of your heart. Your heart wants you to heal. Your heart wants to love. Your heart wants wholeness.

But you choose to cling to your fears. You choose division. It’s republican or democrat, Jewish or Christian, black or white… because you see everyone else taking a side. You choose to numb the pain with food, alcohol, drugs, gossip, judgement and self-sabotage.

This is scarcity— its acting like you have no control over your life because the pain runs too deep.

The pain doesn’t control you.

You control how the pain shows up in your life.

Seeing your pain with love and compassion instead of shame and guilt is a choice.

But we aren’t usually taught that. I know I definitely wasn’t.

You were taught to sit down, be quiet and stop being so emotional. It’s not that big of a deal.

YOUR PAIN IS A BIG DEAL. It created the reality you’re currently living in.

And it’s not serving you. It doesn’t serve anyone, at all, ever.

It’s time to normalize looking at and understanding our pain.

Inside you’ll find life’s greatest lessons— I promise!!

It’s like a whole new world opens up and you can finally be at piece with yourself and your past.

Frequency of Love takes you through this process of seeing yourself through a new lens— one that serves you in every single way.

The glow up that is love is everlasting.

And it’s available to you.

All you have to do is sign up for Frequency of Love (psst…it’s *free*) and the series will be sent directly to your inbox.

I love you,
Lauren 💜
